Dr. Darla Thompson

Dr. Darla Thompson grew up in a small farming community in northwest Missouri. She was an avid basketball player and a captain of the 1980 State Championship Team which was inducted into the Missouri Basketball Hall of Fame.

After earning a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northwest Missouri State University, she served three years active duty in the United States Army as a Military Intelligence Officer, achieving the rank of Captain.

Upon completing active duty, she began working with handicapped children in Houston. Due to the physical nature of her job, Dr. Thompson suffered a severe back injury. As she began to regain her health through chiropractic, she also was inspired to pursue a new career in chiropractic.
